Our Emphasis on Seedsmanship
Seedsmanship is our all-encompassing term for how we develop, evaluate, produce, sell and service our products. At Channel, a true compliment is to be labeled a good seedsman or woman.

A good seedsman or woman is someone who:
- Realizes seed is a fragile, living, miraculous organism to be protected
- Specializes in seed, not other ag inputs or services
- Tells the truth, even when the sale is at stake
- Takes the time to know a customer's operation
- Breaks down the confusion of new seed technologies
- Has access to excellent management or agronomic resources to get answers for customers
- Is part of a team of respected ag professionals

Seedsmanship is an everyday practice. It’s not something we use when it is convenient and ignore when it’s not.

We know that “straight talk” may require brutal honesty, but we would rather lose a sale than forfeit a customer's trust.
